Website Update: The archive

My website will now take on the role of archive for my artwork.

An iteration of my portfolio site.

Some of you may have noticed that I am putting a lot of content on this website. I started this site as a kind of business card for galleries, friends, people I meet who want to gain a representative sample of my work. As some of you may know, I have a terminal illness, so I’m now looking at the site as more of an archive of my work. If some of the projects I post seem like I’m loading in too much stuff, that is why. I want someone to be able to look back and know what I’ve done, my successes and failures simultaneously. Some of my friends may be interested in a deeper look at my 20+ year career making images, and you, this more general visitor I address, may want to explore in depth, too.

So far, I’ve added sections about my artworks on paper and cardboard. I showed some pictures from my sketchbook, and I presented an artist book I haven’t thought of in a long time.

As always, I’ll try to write something semi-coherent around whatever I post, and I promise to stay organized.

Whether I’m here or on to the next thing, know that I appreciate your patronage.
